I put me and my husband on a diet two months ago and he JUST mentioned last night how much thinner I look. It’s not even a diet really. I cut out almost all of our saturated fat and processed sugars when I grocery shop. No processed foods, no junk food, sugar, fast food. Plus I started eating breakfast (oatmeal with honey and a fruit)and drinking gallons of water. I eat of ton of vegies and fruits. And when we go out to eat, I eat half and bring the other half home. If nothing else, sprinkle a few tablespoons of flax seed on every meal you eat for extra fiber. cristel

first thing i suggest grow a veggie garden get your kids to help you on the weekend and then you just need to water it every 1-3 days. This is what i do in a day:

In a day i will eat

I start the day with multi vitamins to supplement the vitamins i miss out on by not eating meat or cows milk. I also drink a glass of room temperature water and half a squeezed lemon or lime

    Breakfast:
multi grain bread with mashed hard boiled egg and paprika with a spearole tea

    or

Just right tropical with soy milk (im allergic to cows milk) and a spearole tea

    Morning tea:
Nuts or fruit and organic fruit or vegetable juice

    Lunch:
Salad (mung beans, lettuce a few types, feta, olives, tatsoi, spinach, nuts and sometimes cous cous. Dress with Chili, lime, coriander and olive oil blend) you can add chicken or tuna if you like. Spearole tea

    Snack:
nuts or fruit and organic fruit or vegetable juice

    Dinner:
    Salad baguette and spearole tea

    or

Salad on rice paper and spearole tea

as for exercise in a day i will spend and hour one wii fit, an hour dancing, and 30-60 minutes stretching

as you dont have alot of time to exercise to and break it you to 3 10-15 minute sessions a day. If you work take a 10 minute walk around the block or exercise while watching tv.

Spearole tea might be expensive to buy in the USA if your from there, so try green tea instead. With all the add diary like low fat yogurt to snacks and lean meat to meals.

Drink lots of water its also good for your skin. I drink 5 litres a day (1.1 gallons) but don’t overly drink as this can cause water intoxication.

    Hope that helped *~Cat~*

The easiest diet to follow is the water diet. All you drink is water. by eliminating soft drinks and jucies you take away sugars and calories. it may take some time but you will see results. also its reallt cheap too. Mic

One would not normally associate Italian food with weight loss. But think about it, have you ever seen a really fat Italian? Not Italian/American, a true Italian. They eat pasta, pizza, and even gelato and still don’t have anywhere near the amount of obesity we have in America. Have a look at ten reasons why.
In the end it always boils down to calories in vs. calories out, but the behavioral and cultural reasons are quite interesting. Reginadiroma
