Sandra asked: I know I asked approx. 5 hrs ago but I got 1 answer I wasn’t satisfied with.

(It’s been deleted)
Anyways, I currantly feed my oscar cichlid pellets as a staple. Along with that he will get a variety of frozen, freeze dried, and live food. All of which are meaty. I do not feed him feeder fish. The only non-meaty supplement he gets an algae wafer that I steal from my mom’s fish. Is there any other non-meaty supplement that I can offer him?
Thanks for the suggestion of fish flakes, but he is already getting his pellets. I was thinking of something that isn’t processed.
I’ll try the peas and cucumbers. Actually my dad grows cucumbers in the backyard so he’ll get them really fresh. =)
Also, for my Oscar, if I were to throw something into his tank, and if it were to fit in his mouth, then chances are it’s going in his mouth and in most cases not coming out.
He gets 1 or 2 crickets a week already. I consider those to be “meaty”. Thanks for the input anyways.

redwingnut16 asked: I saw an episode of bizzare foods on the travel channel about a dietary supplement made of an algi.It was said to give you the benifits of loads of green leaf vegetables and other benefits.I would like to find out what it was for my teen aged sports active son (that hates his greens) I think it would help him greatly.

Christine asked: I often get few if any veggies in my diet. I don’t ever have any handy and if I do, don’t feel like preparing them or anything. So other than the odd carrot or peas with my supper, I don’t really get any vegetables. I love v8 juice though, is drinking two or three cans of that good enough to supplement my daily vegetable needs? Or would that not give me the right vitamins? I’m sure it would be healthier than what I’m doing now… Anyone know?

Stronga asked:
He also refuses to try them after years of food fights.
I believe that he is not getting enough vitamins in his diet.
I once gave him supplements and he readily popped these kiddy tablets now he is looking rather small compared to his peers at high school. I also have a 10 year old with similar eating habits. Any proven remedies are greatly appreciated.
Mum gon crazy
thanks chris, bet your not a parent.
I eat very healthy and he witnesses this at each meal. You can’t force some-one to eat. This is called abuse.

highground_07 asked:
I am changing my diet for health reasons and incorporating more vegetables. A concern of mine is the lack of essential amino acids. I have to cut down on diary, eggs, red meats, etc. When I was on a vegetarian diet prior, I felt physically weak and tired at times. I am looking to incorporate an essential amino acid supplement (Andrew Lessman Procps). What are the side effects of supplementing essential amino acids?

Sadie08 asked: I have decided to go on a low carb diet to lose my stomach fat which means I will be restricting myself from a lot of foods including most fruit and some vegetables.
I want to remain healthy both on the inside and the outside(i.e. hair and nails) and I was wondering, What supplements can I take that are relatively cheap?
Also, are there any supplements which I can take to cleanse my insides?
Thanks
