I have been on this schedule for a year now, and though I have had some difficulties it has worked out overall. Lately, however, I seem to have started really dragging myself through the day(night) and I find I am getting sick a lot more often. I am now quite pale and though I do see some sun I know it isn’t enough. I understand that sunlight is important to your overall heath but I just don’t have the time or energy to get out there during the full sun hours. I also don’t know exactly what this sleep schedule does, but I do know I don’t sleep as well during the day as I used to at night. Is there some sort of diet changes or supplements I can take to somewhat alleviate the effects of this lifestyle and make it a little less harsh on my body? Or perhaps is there any changes people who live in regions where (in parts of the year) there is little or no sun?

I have noticed recently I am always tired. I am normally getting 8 hours of sleep a night. I am working on balancing out my diet and looking for suggestions for diet and/or supplements to help with being tired. I want to do it as naturally as possible.

Ever since I had my hysterectomy last year, I don’t eat right, I can’t sleep at night, and I just do not feel “well”.

A.M.O. asked: I am sick 24/7 during the school year because I don’t sleep enough and I have high stress. I know the right thing to do is sleep more but this is impossible with my schedule.
I take a multi-vitamin, echinacea, vitamin C, and zinc. Are there any other things that are supposed to enhance the immune system?
