J asked: I’m trying to bulk up but I don’t have enough protein in my diet to make results stay. Would a protein supplement help? Or is it unhealthy for a 16 year old male to take one? Lastly, if it’s fine, which type pill or powder?
Thanks for any and all help!

Jb asked:
28, 150. been taking Cyto-Gainer and has helped put on weight but looking to transition to something with less calories. Looking for a solid post-workout protein supplement that will maximize muscle gain and avoid putting on excess fat. Also to use between meals. Not a pill or creatine or anything crazy, just trying to maintain the muscle i build and use as extra calories between meals.

Future Cat Lady asked: I try to eat a balanced diet and exercise and take a multi-vitamin everyday but still am often sluggish in the afternoon (even though I try to eat a smaller meal and have protein).
Have you found an energy supplement/pill that actually works and is safe to take?
Thanks!

Death by Bumba! asked: I’m going into the Army and am looking to build as much lean, strength muscle as possible before i leave for training (to help increase my push-up and sit-up count).
I’m working out and taking a protein supplement, but what diet should start to help?

Treadle asked: I don’t have a very good diet as I’m usually too busy to plan proper meals and don’t have the time to eat a healthy lunch at work. I take various vitamin supplements including Boots Hair, Skin & Nails to try to partially make up for this, though I know it’s no real substitute.
My question is - would taking (sensible amounts of) whey protein be of any benefit to me? I have trouble getting enough protein into my diet and I think that after I’ve tried just about every external treatment, my poor-quality hair and skin may be down to the lack of protein.
So would using whey protein supplement help the condition of my hair and my body in general? Are there are any health problems it can bring?
Thanks!

David asked:
I’ve been using Cyclone 3-4 times a week in the morning and after workout, and although it does work, it’s quite expensive and I don’t know if I can afford to be buying it in bulk every couple of weeks.
Is there anything else just as good, if not better out there for creating a LEAN & CUT LOOK, not huge and ripped! I am 6″3, 190 pounds and 20 years old.
It’s probably the diet which I can’t get right too… I get on average 100+ grams of protein a day… but any help on what I should be taking and eating morning, noon and evening would be a great help!
