We have a company that manufactures and distributes herbal and nutritional supplements (http://stomacin-u.com/). Our infomercial will be coming out in about a month. We need to generate equity-financing at this point. What is the best way of doing a DPO (Direct Public Offering)? Is there a service out there that facilitates this? Thank you!

toyslisa asked: Nutrient drug interactions:
Have you come across questions or concerns about herbal or nutrient drug interactions? Think of an example of yourself, or someone you know.
How were your questions or concerns addressed?
Did you find reliable information?
Where, in your experience, does the public turn to for information on supplements?
Do you think healthcare professionals have met the challenge of helping people find suitable nutritional supplements?

dani asked:
I spend alot of money buying alot of herbal and nutritional supplements, but lately I’ve been wondering how one can know which supplements truly contain the ingredients that they claim in the amounts that they claim, and whether they are manufactured with quality standards, etc. Since they aren’t regulated, how can one know for sure. Are there any brands that are frequently tested by independent labs, and how does one know that the supplement company is not just paying off the lab to give it a passing score? I’m obsessing over this but don’t know how to find credible information about it. Can anyone help? Thank you.

I found a website that listed nutritional supplements and herbs that may help with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and insulin resistance. Apparently I didn’t bookmark it and now I can’t find it. I know it had N-Acetyl-Cysteine and cinnamon listed. It was all on one page and each supplement was rated from 1 to 5 stars.

John Doe asked:
I’m 49 and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to concentrate on one task for any significant length of time. The following background info may be useful: I’ve lived with depression since my mid 20s, and I’ve tried several SSRIs with no improvement, although counseling helped some and I attend support group meetings as needed. I think that my depression and the inability to concentrate may be related. I don’t plan to take any prescription medications for either at this time, so I’m wondering if anyone can suggest foods and/or supplements that might help. I’ve already tried St. John’s Wort & SAM-e for depression with very limited improvement, so ideally I’d like to hear about other supplements or foods. I welcome all suggestions and respect all viewpoints, but please do not suggest prayer.
