Pareidolia asked: Hey everyone, I’ve been wondering a long time if vitamin supplements (esp. the One-A-Day multivitamin type or product) has been proven effective (esp. in a double-blind study).
Why, what’s in a vitamin pill that’s not in, say, a can of Coke?

LuvMyAutisticSon asked:
I started working out last week, doing step areobics 2x week and yoga 1x a week. I am also taking the diet pill, Slimquick. Im eating healthier and Im feeling better than I have felt in a long time. After having 2 kids, I am doing my best on making myslef feel better and look better. I know they say 2 lbs per week is minimum, but Ive been doing this since the Friday b4 last and Im down 10 lbs. Is this healthy to continue this? I feel great, Im not weak, Im not tired all the time like I was, and Im getting my energy back. I know its only been a short time, but do you think its too much too fast? Will I regret it later? Ive never actually heard of diet supplements working any and was just wondering if anyone else has had the same results. I seriously thought the ad on TV was bogus like they all are. Anyone else have a similar experiance and can give me their honest opinion? Thanks.
I did mean ‘maximum’ thanks for catching that. I was suggested these by a trainer. They are best used by women after having a baby. They are only for a months worth and continue to work after they are gone. Im still going to continue going to exercise and eat right afterwards. I think they are mainly to give that extra energy boost needed to help you excercise more. I feel awesome! Being a stay at home mom its hard to find the time to exercise and now that I am, it feels so great to get up and move around. Even on the dumb TV commercial it has people losing TONS of weight with 8 weeks or so. They have been keeping track of my weight at the gym I am atteding and said I am doing great. Thanks for your answers though.
