persaunna asked: I am a 40 year old woman, have a sedentary job and lifestyle, and I have decided to do something about it. I have joined a gym and am swimming every day–working myself up to the machines. I am already taking fish oil (to support my heart), glucosamine/chondroitin (less joint soreness), a multivitamin (was doing so before working out) and Korean ginseng (to improve energy). To the best of your knowledge, what supplements (I dont mean diet pills) would help support my weight loss/exercise efforts?

Carrie H asked: Hi, Ive been using microgynon 30 for about 9months now and Ive recently put on some weight, as i have a slow metabolism I purchased on the Web a health supplement which helps speed it up. I do regular exercise but I’m worried that the pill will be effected.
The supplement is called Metabo Ultra-max Advanced Thermogenic Diet Complex.
Here’s the ingredients on the Health bottle,
Calcium Pyruvate 160mg
Korean Ginseng 160mg
L- Phenylalanine 50mg
L- Tyrosine 50mg
Chromium Polynicotine 100mcg
It also contains Gelatine, Mircocrystalline cellulose
I checked the booklet which came with the pack, it does give the details on the use of other medication and states some may cause the pill to loose its effects. The medication stated varied from Anti-biotics to Anti-inflamitory drugs
I have no idea what these mean, I dont think they would do anything but I would like some legal advice. I would be affraid to find tht the supplement were to effect the pill as it werent cheap but please can someone help.
thanks
