jj asked: I’m on a diet, and I want to be sure I get nutrition from “good fats.” Are the Omega-3 pills any good for you? Fish oil pills? Flaxseed? What are your suggestions or experiences?

Mark ( asked: The only non-vegan food in my diet is eggs which I take for the protein and B-vitamins. I would like to give up eggs, but I lift weights and am very active and I have found through past practice that I do not get enough protien when I am lifting weights just by combining foods.
I have heard too much Soy isn’t good. I don’t know much about Hemp protien
What is the best vegan protein supplement for a vegan who lifts weights and is any vegan protien supplement adequate on its own?

Stranger In Hawaii asked: Every since I graduated high school, I’ve been getting a lot less sun(I used to run track). I also noticed that I am frequently catching colds which I hear can can be caused by a lack of vit. D affecting your immune system. Would 2000 units suffice? How much do you recommend? Thanks.

skf asked: I take local bee pollen both as a supplement and to help with pollen allergies. I recently heard that you can eat nothing but bee pollen and water and lose weight effectively.
I’m questioning this approach to weight loss. I don’t know a lot of information about this diet, but it sounds unhealthy. Does anyone know the details of a bee pollen diet?

Carla S asked: I’m considering taking a Hoodia Gordonii supplement in order to lose a stone since it has been hard to diet because I have such a huge appetite! I did my research on the several brands available and discovered UiqueHoodia and I was considering taking this one. It seems is credible and is pure Hoodia, it also has the right certificates. Anyone tried it with good results?
