My diet is terrible and I do not enjoy losing my sixpack(abs) but do not want to lose my six pack(beer) either. I have ab muscles but am getting a little extra weight on them.
Should I just stick with trying to get more cardio or is there something that could speed up my metabilism?

I am 6′2″ and weigh 218 lbs. Doesn’t sound bad but I’ve been thin all my life until I hit my 30’s. Never got over 175 lbs. I’m 35 now. I broke my leg in december so the cardio went out the door and I won’t be able to even jog until around august. I put on about 18 pounds since then. All fat. All gut. I am thinking about a low carb diet or Cyclical Ketogenic Diet to be exact. I am wondering out of those who tried and stuck with a diet that was low carb and put you into ketosis what your experience was like. Can you drink alcohol on these diets? Did you try supplements that worked better than others? What about food and which tasted the best and worked for you? Thx

Has anyone had success with diet pills? Are there any out there that work well and aren’t damaging?

I am trying to lose about 10lbs. I am frustrated because I have been doing all the right things yet I see no results. For two months I have been working out (6 days 1hr of cardio and 4 days I do an additional hour of weights), I have been eating healthy (5 mini meals, salads, lean meats, ect..) and I have been getting enough sleep and vitamins. Why can’t I lose weight? I am hoping that a supplement or a diet pill will help me. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I am 142 pounds currently and 5′4″ tall. I am looking to be somewhere around 117 lbs. ideally. I have begun a diet and exercise program structured with both cardio and toning 5 days a week. I am just wondering if there is a safe weight loss pill/supplement to take that would kick start my stubborn weight loss. I have recently come off the pill, and am looking to regain the physique I had before I started taking it.

I am 5′2, 125 lbs, female, 22 years old.

I’m going to start weight training this week with 2 days of cardio. Also I’m doing a super clean diet and supplementing with 2 whey protein shakes a day. I take 5 meals a day.

I don’t care about my scale weight. my goals is too be lean and lose fat. How long does it typically take for your body to show signs of leaness and muscle tone? How long can I expect to see changes?

I am 29 yr old female, and I have recently started working out 5 days per week (up from my normal 3). I have begun to lose weight and inches, and my fat percentage is slowly going down as well. I am doing 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight/circuit training per workout. I am wearing a heart rate monitor to make sure I keep my rate up to where it should be for optimal weight loss. I get home and I am SO TIRED and I have trouble getting up the next morning as well.

Someone suggested adding protein shakes to combat the fatigue,

when do I have the shakes, how much and how often! I am looking to tone, not bulk up!!!

I am following a diet high in fruit and fiber, and lean protein. I usually avoid breads and grains, and I eat many times throughout the day. (I am certainly not starving!)
