I used to be an athlete, got the desk job/stopped working out, etc (we all know the story)… I have been gradually working myself up and got myself to running approx. 2 miles a day/6 days a week (varying between just consistent running and sprinting, always pushing to do more/longer/etc). I have noticed recently I am always tired. I am normally getting 8 hours of sleep a night. I am working on balancing out my diet and looking for suggestions for diet and/or supplements to help with being tired. I want to do it as naturally as possible.

Any aerobic athlete willing to submit meal and supplement schedule?

I’m especially interested in the dancer or gymnasts ( or anything like that) diet and supplement schedule for a project in the fitness education arena. I need to compare the ratio of fats, carbs and protein in regards to meal scheduling and meal supplements to that of a bodybuilder. ASAP. Name and appropriate credit will be given.

Does the muscle building supplement “Force Factor” really work like the makers say?

I was just wondering if it really gives you the results that the makers claim, and if it is good for a person’s health. Does it have any side effects and if it does are any of them major? So basically is it worth it for an average person (not an athlete or bodybuilder) to use this product?

How can I get a retail store to carry a nutritional supplement that I designed and had manufactured?

Nutritional Supplement
Jamie asked:

Hi Everyone! I have really been thinking about making my own nutritional supplement. I have been an athlete my whole life and want to create something that is tailored to what myself and my teammates feel is important as far as supplements go. The problem is, while I have a company lined up to manufacture my product and I am working on getting incorporated, I have no idea how to get my product out to the market. I have never worked at a vitamin store or health food store (just retail clothing!) so I don’t know what their process is as far as agreeing to carry some one’s product. I really feel that its a great idea, but I am so nervous to go ahead with having it manufactured because I don’t know how to approach the store owners or how I will get it out to the public. If anyone works for a vitamin or health food store and knows how the process works, I would really really appreciate any feedback you have and how I could get a store interested in carrying my product and would it be totally impossible to do that given all the huge brands that currently offer products through these stores. Thank you so much!!!!
