I got extremely sick from a “nutritional supplement” drink and they only want to pay for a replacement!
GeoYo asked:
Am I entitled to more than that? I wasso very sick that I had explosive diarhea, projectile vomiting, fever, chills, and severe weakness . This went on for three days . At first I thought I had caught some random stomach virus. Then five days later I drank another one and had the same problem!! That’s when I figured out that it was the drink. My question boils down to this…Am I entitled to compensation beyond the purchase price of a six-pack of Ensure? Is there somewhere I can send the last three bottles to be tested for contamination (bacterial or chemical) other than the company who manufactures them? Somehow I think they would be less than honest with their results! Should I just drink another one in the hospital waiting room? I contacted Consumer Reports and they just said to return them to the company. Not what I expected from a company with the consumer’s best interests in mind! Lastly, what about all the hospital patients who’s symptoms were dismissed as their illness?

Ensure also makes me sick, though not to your extent, it gives me flu like symptoms, perhaps this should be taken up to a lawyer. If you have a list of people who went to the hospital after drinking Ensure, I bet a law office would gladly jump upon it. Masseur_at_Play

you can pay to have it analyzed. You may even be able to have it done for free if you have a college in you town.
Have no idea what it could cost. emtp911
