Hydroxycut, diet supplements?
swordlord23 asked:
I’ve seen comercials for hydroxycut that claim that it enhances the methabolism to burn fat and add energy, are products like this effective? and if so, which one should I try? I only want to lose 10lbs.

hydroxycut (like the name suggests) only makes you loose your water weight, if you take it all you do is pee all day, every hour or more, and to make it work you also have to drink a TON of water, but it does work as far as the water weight part dizzymisslizzie_1

hydroxycut….It really works…it slows down your appetitie and gives you energy. My husband was at 230 and in one month he dropped to 200….he was exercising about 4 times a day and most of it was weight lifting…and running for 30 minutes 1 or 2 days….but hydrocy cut does work and a big bottle of it from GNC is about $42 and the smaller bottle is about $30. tink41503

Hydroxycut is so effective because it’s based on what’s called the ECA stack, AKA ephedrine, caffeine, and asprin stack. The ECA stack is used in most weight loss supplements, and has proven to be very effective. Their combined effects include alertness, appetite suppressant, a stimulant, higher blood pressure, faster heart beat etc. For example, caffeine increases the level of circulating fatty acids, and this has been shown to enhance fat oxidation.
Unfortunately, ephedrine is known to cause many undesirable side effects in users, and have many reported cases of heart attacks and worse, death. As far as I know, the FDA is seriously considering banning ephedrine based fat burners and products all together.
I personally have taken both Hydroxycut ephedrine free, and Hydroxycut Hardcore with ephedrine. The both do a good job of reduce fate and appetite suppressant, because they are both based on the ECA stack. However I have seen faster and more effective results from the ephedrine based Hydroxycut. However this is a decision you must make by yourself, if your unsure what to do “please by all mean consults a doctor before starting anything.” droop_dog20
