You could but I would definitely speak to her pediatrician about which foods you should use to supplement. I would definitely encourage you to use phrases with her like, "Honey, you're a big girl now and you need to take the big girl milk". She needs to be drinking 2-3 glasses if not more of 2% milk a day, once she is 2. If she's still under two they say whole milk is best. Congrats on keeping her with the breastmilk that long. It is a very healthy way to feed your child!

No she needs milk, give it to her, and if she doesn't drink it, then mix it until she drinks it. There are other supplements, but Milk is the best.

Of course she can supplement it with other things with high calcium. It is very very important that children get enough calcium. At that young age their bodies and bones are growing like crazy and they need to keep their bones strong. You can supplement milk with other calcium sources. Such as, yougurt, cheese, even collard greens, oranges, and pees have calcium.

I would first stay away from formula if you can just because of her age its best to just try to get to regular milk. Have you tried doing half and half. Half breast milk and half whole milk. This is how we got my nephew on to regular cow's milk. Milk in any toddlers diet is very important of course. Talk to the pediatrician if you are seriously worried and they can suggest others methods to go about the transition.
