At 15 you really don’t want to get into supplements, there is no information out there that says they are bad for you at that age, but there just isn’t any information period. Keep it simple, I’d suggest IDS Weight Gainer (chocolate caramel is my personal favorate). It gives you what you need, a lot of calories. One or two shakes a day along with as much food as you can handle, and you’ll be good to go. You won’t look like an abercrombie and fitch model, but you’ll be able to put on some weight and gain some muscle despite how much you’ll be running.

Take plenty of protein. Drink plenty of water. Make sure to take multi-vitamins/minerals because when you workout your body uses up more nutrients and you need to make sure you supply your body with plenty of them.
The best prices I have ever seen are from PROSOURCE. They have everything from multi-vitamins to protein powders and weight gainers. Get a catalog from them. They deliver to your address.
NOTE: I am 35 years old and have been working out with weights since I was 16. I would recommend from personal experience that you be concerned about the health of your bones or else as you get older all the weight lifting is gonna leave painful effects. I recently read about glucosamine and chondroitin being excellent for rebuilding cartilage. I would recommend that you look into it.

Try bee pollen it is cheaper and a better form of protein than whey. Plus bee pollen has a naturally occurring B complex to aid in energy production. It also is a complex carb. to further enhance energy production. The proteins in bee pollen are all plant proteins and will help to develop lean muscle. I got this recipe and the bee pollen from.
Blend one banana, one cup vanilla soy milk (more protein), Ice to desired thickness and one tablespoon bee pollen. This will keep you within budget because the bee pollen is only about fifteen bucks and should last about thirty days or more if you drink two shakes a day. The whey protein shakes will cost you about thirty bucks and last only one to two weeks depending how much you take so this will put you way over your budget of fifty bucks.
