Experienced NZ farmers please…question about NZ animal feed?
Lobster asked:
I have heard that in NZ, cattle consumes around 20 kilos of grass per day and sheep consumes 2 kilos, I would like to know if that figures is right, or, are those animals eat dry food like corn starch? And how many kilos does them eat a day.
Are those animal feed necessary? Or its simply some kind of health supplement?
How many Farmers will buy animal feed for cattle and sheep in NZ (percentage?)

Hi there…because everyone here on Yahoo! Answers (Y!A) is located from all over the world it may be difficult to help you with your locale. In the USA/Canada there are feed stores which has this information available for their customers. I am uncertain if there are feed stores/shops in NZ nearby you. If so, they would be the most ideal place to to learn of this information. ♪ Seattle ♫
