No homeopathic remedies work for anything for the very simple reason that they have no active ingredients. They may have an effect in some people for some these by means of the placebo effect, but when compared to actual drugs, they are useless.

The concept behind homeopathy (like cures like, and more dilute is more powerful) are unproven and fairly bizarre ideas. There have been several very large randomized trials published in the past few years which have shown once and for all that homeopathy is bunk. Nonetheless, many people still “believe” in them. There are two levels of using homeopathy. The first level is rescue remedy. That is generally available in lower potency. Most of that strength is 6C or 30C. There are other approaches using a combination approach. Both approaches share the commonality of self-treating the symptom in a simplistic way.

The second way is for you to undergo classic homeopathic intake and to have your constitution and to have your conditions (symptoms) matched to a remedy of varying strengths.

As a trained scientist and physician, I was skeptical of homeopathy. However, it seems to work well for certain conditions in certain individuals and also there are companies that make very good remedies that work reliably for general public. yoonhangkim

Yes, they do work. Using them is not simple. The ones you pick up at the health food store are required by law to have a label stating the condition for which to use them. In actuality all homeopathic remedies can positively effect MANY conditions that people want to treat. So to take Ignatia for “nervousness” is not liable to work for you. Ignatia is extremely helpful in grief situation and I have used it a number of times.

You can go to for Boericke’s Materia Medica and look up any homeopathic remedy for all the possible indications for any particular remedy.

A professional homeopath will consider a number of remedies for any condition after extensively interviewing a patient and considering their emotional and physical symptoms.

You DO dissolve pellets under your tongue (at least one half hour before or after consuming food, coffee, alcohol, etc.) old cat lady
