dAmIAnOO asked: do all those diet pills/weight loss supplements really work???
like acai berry, hydroxycut etc…
ive been kinda “fighting ” with my weight for over a year
it started last year when i broke my neck and i was out of school for like almost 9-10 months
i was a little depressed then so i lookd for comfort in food and i gain like 50-60 pounds
i was 260 now im 210
it took me over 7 months to lose that weight now i feel a lot better but i have had it enough with all those diets
im 18 im 5′8 and as i said i weight 210 i would like to lose at least like 10-15 pounds more and i had enough of those diets
im not a sporty/athletic kind of person i mean i like playing badminton and rollerblading but now in winter theres nothing to do
i walk a lot
so are those diest pills/supplements really good
i mean from all those commercials it looks like its working or is it just brainwashing the people ??

__A_YAHOO_USER__ asked: I am 150 pounds, 6 foot 2, and 15 years old. I have recently started lifting weights and doing workouts along with protein supplements to try to buff up. Most people say a big part is to eat a lot and of certain amounts of food. What foods should I eat? What should my diet look like if I wanna buff up?

Master Cerva asked: I was just wondering if it really gives you the results that the makers claim, and if it is good for a person’s health. Does it have any side effects and if it does are any of them major? So basically is it worth it for an average person (not an athlete or bodybuilder) to use this product?

DJ asked: I basically live on fast food and take out. Yes, I know it’s bad, and yes, I know that taking vitamins is not a replacement for having a balanced diet. But obviously it is better to have a bad diet with vitamins than to have a bad diet without vitamins.
Right now I take fish oil, a B12 supplement (mainly because I drink a lot of beer), St John’s Wort, and a multivitamin.
Is there anything else you would recommend for a lazy, beer drinking fast food addict? (I’m kind of wondering if there is anything I could take that would speed up my metabolism a bit, but any ideas on supplements to improve my general health would be great.) By the way I’m 22.
Thanks for the mature answers.
I already do go onto the nutrition menus on the websites of most takeout places and search for the best options–it’s really surprising how much menu items vary in calories & fat content. I usually skip the fries and go with a diet coke and try to stay under 2000 calories / day.
That’s why I just wanted to add some more vitamins in case I’m at risk of some kind of serious deficiency.
edna, what kind of fast food would you recommend?

goodnosh7 asked: I’m male and I’m pretty short for my age (18 yrs old). Does anyone know of any thing I can take that has successfully increased the heights of people in the past? Must be safe for health and available in local drugs store.
I forgot to mention that both my parents are below average in heights. I’m already taller than my dad but I don’t want to stop growing and want to be even taller. Any meds?
