I am going to cut his diet right back to complete bland food and try slowly introducing other foods to try and find out the root cause. While I am doing this though I don’t want him going without the correct vitamins and would like to give him some supplements, I just don’t know which ones and where to get them from. I have already spent a fortune on vets bills to no avail so am now trying to resolve the matter myself. Is there anyone out there who can tell me which vitamins to buy and where from? Thank you!

The vet says that his skin condition is reflecting the fact that his liver is starting to age but said that all he needs at the moment is a good vitamin/mineral supplement for elderly dogs. The vets themselves sell a supplement which was about £40 a pot - more than I can afford at the moment! There’s a bewildering array of health supplements for dogs and I just wondered if anyone could recommend a good vitamin and mineral supplement for elderly dogs? Many thanks!

Ok, so my dad also owns a lab, and he gives him a fish oil tablet everyday, he just buys the regular ones from walmart, i think they are naturemade brand
would that be the kind i would get if i wanted to start my labs on those?
just the regular human kind?
