Mr. Smartypants™ asked: I bought it on August 8 so that would make it two weeks in the refrigerator. I can’t tell if it smells bad or not really. It’s organic and it’s the first time I’ve bought organic so I don’t know if they use any preservatives or what the shelf life is. Is it still safe to use to make chicken tortilla soup?
Aklam I do need a wife do you need a husband lol

ShannonOfDoom asked: We don’t use corn syrup in Australia & I have seen a lot of American pie recipes that call for it, because it was in the health food store I assumed it was a healthy alternative to sugar syrup. (silly me)
Does anyone else think it’s a bit strange that a health food store would stock corn syrup?

Yamster asked: Is Trader Joe’s a “health food store”?
What are the names of some health food stores?
And is Whole Foods better or Trader Joe’s, in terms of healthy food.

Darjeeling Snow asked: Hi!
Sometimes it is preferable to use fancy fruit - for things like confections or for gift giving - rather than fruit from health
food stores which carry fruits dried by “organic” means,
simply because, in my experience, glacee fruits are far
prettier.
Do you think there is any great risk in buying fruits that are
not sun-dried, say. In other words, how bad are the others?
Maybe it is a question of how frequently you purchase them.

loz asked: Hello,
I’m trying to make some drinks for christmas presents, such as ginger beer (ah, poverty). However, I have come to discover that brewer’s yeast is needed to make a lot of soft drinks and the like, and a search on google for this returns mixed results. ‘Brewer’s yeast’ appears to be a health supplement, sold in both powdered form and tablets. So my long-winded question is, is stuff like this http://www.naturaldispensary.co.uk/index.php?p=product&id=1804&parent=112 the stuff I need to brew drinks, or is it something totally different?
Thanks!

Mr. So Krates asked: I am making a special health tea and the directions are in grams, how does this convert over into teaspoons?
I just need a relative estimate. It doesn’t have to be super exact, just an idea of how many grams are in a teaspoon. The powder is finely ground tea leaves, like the consistency of black black pepper.

gethealthy4life asked: I am cleansing my insides. The 7 day diest calls for only fruit the first day, only veggies the second, fruits and veggies the third, bananas, 3 glasses of milk, and a special soup the fourth, tomatoes and 2 10 oz portions of beef on the fifth day, beef and veggies the sixth, and brown rice, fruit juices, and veggies the seventh. plus lots of water everyday.
the soup is a supplement to the diet. it includes 28 oz of h2o, 6 large onions, 2 green peppers, whole tomatoes, 1 head of cabbage, 1 bunch of celery, 4 envelopes of lipton onion soup mix, and herbs/spices for flavor.
My only problem is I don’t know how to prepare the soup…can anyone help?

Jules asked: Hi! I’m 23 years old and am trying to lose some weight. I am doing some moderate excercising, as moderate is all I have time for, and am watching what I eat. What is a good diet supplement, pills or for shakes, that is safe to take and works most effectively w/out side effects?
Suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks
Calcium? Interesting, thanks.
Any idea where I can get Wu Yi tea?
