I am 49 years old from USA, recently approved for a spouse visa in Australia. I have two simple questions:
(1.) I have been receiving a disability pension from the US government and from my private disability insurance company for a number of years due to viral encephalitis, both of which are tax free in the U.S., will I have to pay income tax in Australia?
(2.) I applied and was approved with an Australian Medicare card. What is the best private health insurance for me to supplement my Medicare insurance?
