Are ephedra-containing diet supplements legal in Europe?

What types of diet supplements are legal in the European Union that aren’t legal in the United States? I know there are different types of Hoodia, some of which are not sold in the USA. Ephedra-containing diet products were banned in the US, but are they still legal in Europe?
