In my practice I have found that Reishi mushroom has a beneficial effect when dealing with ADD and ADHD. Once with an adult in his early 20’s who was diagnosed in his child hood. He reported to me that he has less ADD moments and does not need as much Ritalin to remain stable. A second case was with an 8 year old child who exhibited many of the signs of ADHD but had not been diagnosed by a physician. His mother reported that her son’s behavior, concentration, and comprehension had improved considerably. You should also seriously consider having your child allergy tested. Reishi mushroom will be helpful with allergies as well as it reduces the bodies histamine response.
If you do decide to use herbs or supplements, be sure you consult with the proper professionals. Go to an herbalist or nutritionist. This way you will be certain that your child is receiving the correct dosages. Doctors are very good at what they do but they do not have proper training in herbs or supplements.
Hope this helps. TCMJim

dont listen to herbalists they are not accredited by any major board.
why give unproven untested “herbs” (sigh) to a kid when stimulant medication has been found to suppress the symptoms and give the kids a chance at a normal life? thready
