Your mother is now 9 years older than when she had the stroke. She is getting the bed sores now only because she is getting old and the skin is getting thinner and thinner and sores are becoming more frequent. Blood circulation is low in those areas and sore come very easily when infection happens. Since she is a bedridden patient anything you want to give consult a doctor. You should realize that her systems are getting weaker and now if you start giving any extra medicines it is going to overload the liver, kidney etc. This may cause more problems. Harmony19
